Our Story

In 1994 Karin McBride-Chenoweth received a powerful vision. Two anointed sisters and friends of Karin's who were already involved in their own ministries - Ruth Bell (NIICCA) and the late Donna Taggart (Ireland Israel Network), had each received a part of the vision - simultaneously as well. When they talked about it on a three-way phone call one evening, the three pieces all came together to form what we now know as 3-in-1 The Voice.  The vision was a FREE downloadable E-zine that could be downloaded by all people, everywhere. However the technology did not exist but the columns and layout where given to each woman with Karin receiving the Word "My tongue is the pen of a ready writer." Psalm 45:1, and the overall main part of the vision.

From 1994 through to 2009 Karin never lost the vision that God had given and wondered when it would manifest in the natural. While being used in other areas of ministry during this time, she waited until she received a prompting from the Holy Spirit on 27th July 2009. Her youngest daughter had just graduated and while in conversation with her one day it was revealed that the technology now existed for the vision for the E-zine to be fulfilled. Nothing had ever been conceived or attempted before. A website was built by her daughter and a poster published online advertising for anointed writers to contribute, with the publish date of Issues one, set at the 01 October 2009. Her eldest daughter, Mel would eventually take over as editor. 

By September 2009 Karin had zero writers or celebrities to interview! Was it all a mistake? But God is never wrong and He is never late. In September 2009 just as Karin was thinking about editing the format of the e-zine, she received a call from France, from a renowned biographer and freelance journalist, Lorraine Wiley. She also was a believer in Christ Jesus and offered to write for the E-zine as a guest VIP writer. Karin, who was quickened in the spirit, knew she had also been directed to interview Lorraine as the first "In Focus" celebrity guest for the 3-in-1 The Voice. 

Throughout the rest of 2009/2010, 3-in-1 The Voice continued to grow at a terrific speed! Not just in Ireland/UK but throughout the world. Multiple countries were hitting the website and downloading and by the end of 2009 there were over 1 million hits! Initially the word Karin received was that in its current format, 3-in-1 The Voice would only continue until 01 October 2010. In obedience, Karin wrote out to every contributor and explained that she would be closing the door on the ministry at this point. However, just prior to this date, Karin received another vision to continue the e-zine with just the "In Focus" section featuring Christian artists, actors, authors, ministers etc. The Word that was given was "The overcame him by  blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony..." Revelation 12:11.
